Cooking in enamel should not be a scary affair. Enamel loves eggs, scrambles, stews, or simply heating up leftovers. (But leave high heat searing to your other pans.) Clean up is easy, just make sure to throughly dry your pan after washing.
It is pretty so it is entitled to a trivet on the dinner table. Where I grew up, it is customary to mop it up with pieces bread at the end of the meal.
